Langen Motorcycles was born out of passion to create motorcycles unlike anything else on the road, pushing the boundaries of modern technology and innovation whilst capturing the very essence and emotion of riding a motorcycle.
Each Lightspeed not only has the unique character of a Langen, but also reflects the character of the individual. We believe it is impossible to create a motorcycle to cater for more than one person – so we don't.
The classical silhouette is what people notice first. Up close, they find carbon fibre laid by hand, a chassis cut and welded in our own workshop, and billet parts machined minutes from the factory door.
Every component was chosen or made by us. The highlights:
1,190cc liquid-cooled 72º V-twin. Developed by Rotax, built by Buell, running Langen's own EFI and electronics. 185 hp, 138 Nm.
Full carbon fibre bodywork and Langen forged, CNC-machined wheels. Over 1000 bhp per tonne.
FGRT 301 48 mm forks with a superbike cartridge kit. Twin STX piggyback shocks at the rear. Fully adjustable.
Twin 320 mm floating discs with four-piston radial calipers up front; 265 mm disc at the rear. Cornering ABS.
Traction, wheelie, launch and cruise control developed by Langen. CNC-machined dash with TFT touchscreen.
Langen system with machined, engraved end cap. Full titanium race system available as an owner option.
LED halo headlamp in a machined bezel and carbon nacelle. Öhlins forks in CNC-machined yokes.
Twin tail lamps in a machined housing, hand-laid carbon tail and the Langen dash, turned from solid.
No two Lightspeeds need look alike. Bodywork, frame, wheels, seat and every anodised or machined detail can be specified individually – and where the palette isn't enough, our design team will develop a finish with you.
Studies are design visualisations prepared for owners during specification. Final finishes are agreed in person at Langen.
A Lightspeed is not bought from stock. It is commissioned – in person, with the people who will design, engineer and build it.
A refundable £1,000 deposit secures one of 185 numbered build slots. It stays refundable until your specification is agreed, the sales agreement is signed and manufacturing begins.
You are invited to Langen in Wigan to meet the team and see the workshop where your motorcycle will be built – or we talk it through on a call if you're overseas.

A Langen is built by a small team you will know by name. Owners deal directly with the factory – no dealer in between.
Production is capped at 185 worldwide. Each build is numbered and its specification recorded.

Future ultra-limited Langen editions are offered to Lightspeed owners and build-slot holders before public launch.
UK-specification builds deliver first. Homologated versions for the USA, Europe, Japan, the Middle East and Australasia follow.
